2008
Icey Productions was founded
In a year that saw the biggest stock market crash since the great depression, our Director Ian seized the opportunity to start up ICEY Productions to capitalise on the emerging viral video market. Icey productions was formed as a partnership with Lone Man Productions, a production company with vast experience, working on programming with several broadcasters. As Icey Productions we worked on a number of commercial and editorially led projects for clients, spanning a vast array of industry sectors.
2012
1878 Media was formed
2012 saw ICEY Productions purchase Lone Man Productions, forming a new brand entirely. Thus, 1878 Media Agency was launched. With the introduction of a new agency, we were able to offer an expanded service offering, ranging from consulting, through to campaign management and delivery. One of our major projects saw us help Experience UK and the Department for International Trade promote UK expertise within the experience economy. We have also helped Technically Creative to develop their entire brand, and managed a bespoke campaign for 12 months to establish them as one of the major players in the attractions industry.
2021
Collab. Inc. - A new beginning
That brings us up to the present day. January 2021 sees our biggest and most influential development in our story so far, as we become Collab Inc, the fully integrated media agency. Our journey from Icey Productions back in 2008 has seen us learn, develop, and master the skills needed to help our clients succeed.
